Continued Encaustic Workshop with Karen Meadows

When we have a general idea of how we like to work with the basic techniques, there is more to discover! Beginners though are welcome and will quickly catch on!

In this continuing workshop, we will create 2 cradled wood paintings ready to hang.

Techniques include:

·       Photo image transfer (like making a transparent decal on the wax)

·       Stencils ( Cut your own shapes)

·       Oil pastels to mark with

·       Powdered graphite

·       Following your own art making experiments!

All materials will be provided.  You may bring paper, fabric, and small objects to embed into your paintings.

Class minimum is 4 people, maximum is 8. There will be 50% refund up to February 1st, no refunds after that date.
