"PAMPHLETS OF POSSIBILITY" is a one year project starting on April 14th at the Downtown Art Studio in San Rafael, CA. To participate come to the SIGNS OF HOPE exhibit opening at Artworks Downtown, 1337 4th St, San Rafael, CA 94901.  The Pamphlets project was inspired by Letter Journal Love, a Facebook Page started by Jade Herriman. The concept is very simple. the "starter" of each pamphlet will pick one of the 50 pamphlets available at the event, set a theme for their pamphlet and create one page. Each following recipient will add another page with a drawing, a collage, a poem, some prose, a favorite saying or anything that inspires and relates to the theme of the pamphlet. Themes can be political, social, emotional, anything goes. Some examples might be: Climate Change, Women's Rights, Black Lives Matter, Health Care, Homelessness, Gun Control, Happiness, Nature, the ocean, etc.
Once the recipient has completed and signed their page as well as added their name, city, country and date to the last page, the pamphlet is ready to be passed on to a friend in another location.. After the Pamphlets travel the world and are worked on by 16 people they will be returned back to Studio 64 and there will be a final showing of the books next year.
