We pleased to host a reading by two wonderful Bay Area writers,
Stefanie Marlis:
While not publishing, or giving readings, for the last several years, Stefanie has focused on writing a novel, her bread-and-butter copywriting projects, and two poetry manuscripts, mostly inspired by walks and hikes in Marin County. Earlier in this century, and in the last, she published four full-length poetry books and received numerous awards, including an NEA fellowship.
and Molly Giles:
Molly Giles has published four prize winning collections of short stories and a novel. She has new and forthcoming work
in Zyzzyva, Word Riot, Ursa Minor, and Cog. She teaches occasional fiction classes at Book Passage and is a mentor
in their Paths to Publishing Program. She lives in Woodacre.
